long hiatus....

 My outfit for the day, couple of these pics were taken by my lovely sister, she came up to stay with me for a few days, I missed her and she missed me, I would show you her gorgeous face, but she declined having pics of her up in the web, oh well, maybe I can sneak a pic of her sleeping or something candid next time she visits...lol it was great having her here, we went shopping, eating great yummy food, fair rides, copious amounts of cotton candy till we almost threw up, seeing the Omaha zoo, and watching old movies on netflix, I sometimes wished we lived in the same state, but absence does make the heart grow fonder!

 Finally organized my hair accessories! my collection is ever growing, 80% of these are from various talented etsy shops, some I made myself, and some I broke down and bought commercially!

 My sweet Ci-Ci snuggling with my sister's blanket she brought up here to sleep with, (although I had extra blankets, she insisted on bringing her own) Ci-Ci smells my mom's cat "Malcolm" aka Ci-Ci's boyfriend and couldn't stop snuggling with it, and rubbing up on my sister's suitcase too! that's her version of a love letter...le sigh!

 My house is finally clean for once, and even a week later, it's still in great shape!  I just love my house, and hope to God I never move, or at least for a long time!

Sorry for the long absence! Had company, a job interview, and cooler weather/rain has finally returned but I fear it will be short lived, since it is only mid August, summer still has a few weeks left of her vile life!  

Collections Are A Fickle Thing...

 HOLY CANNOLI!  I ended up recruiting enough ladies to make a tv show! ahhh! Let me introduce to you my newest ladies!

 Miss Laguna Blue...she is a mermaid and very feminine!

 Technically this one doesn't have a name, she is one of those self assembling monsters, she was referred to as a witch, so I named her Miss Glendah Goodwich, and yes, she is good, not bad.....

 This is another Frankie Stein doll, but I already have one, so I renamed her Francine, Frankie's twin...haha I love my creativity!

 The one I looked long and hard for, Miss Spectra Vondergeist, the ghost...she is lofty and graceful!

 A musician and diva after my own heart....Miss Operetta. She rocks!

 Here is Miss Nefera De Nile....one fierce model, she takes her new minxdenpartdeux modeling job very seriously!

 Miss Robecca Steam, very sweet and daring too...I love her gears and gadgets!

 Miss Clawdeen Wolf, a warewolf with lovely style!

 Miss Abby Bomidable, a yeti who hates the heat, but she is content with my AC going on full blast....

 This one is also a put together one, a cat monster, so I simply named her Kat.  She is interesting indeed, very wild, and hates shoes! Although she quietly asked me for a wig, and I told her one is in the mail and on it's way, my first gift to her! She squealed and hugged me! lol  She also didn't have much in the way of clothing, so I gave her some pants and feet warmers...

Another Recruit!

 It's recruiting time in Minxdenpartdeux again!!!  This time I selected the humble but very feisty Miss Rochelle Goyle, and yes, she is a gargoyle from France!  I finally got to practice my french speaking skills with this lovely lady, she brought along her fabulous purse and cheeky mini gargoyle pet!

 I absolutely love her hair! light pink with teal streaks, oh my I want colors like that in my hair!

 What a natural beauty! and we have something very important in common other than being bilingual, we both love socks! doesn't she have just the cutest dainty socks on?

 When four became five....

Inside This Little Old House Lives A Blue Haired Crazy Cat Lady, GET OVER IT!

Ok let me b#tch for a minute....I'm not so sure why but so many people have been driving by my house, literally stopping their cars and staring at me and my house! I have even caught one person snapping photos.  Anytime I am outside watering my herbs, beans, and corn, they all stop and stare....when my hubby and I are outside on our back deck grillin, having a beer, sure enough they drive by slowly and stare.  If I am out walking to my car, they stop and stare....SERIOUSLY WHAT IS IT YOU IDIOTS?! TAKE A FREAKIN PICTURE IT WILL LAST LONGER, JUST BECAUSE I HAVE BLUE SHORT CROPPED HAIR DOESN'T MAKE ME A SIDESHOW!  so what if I have blue hair? so what, I have 3 cats that live with me and I consider them my family, not pets? so what if I wear exorbitant amounts of colorful clothing? wearing plastic teacup necklaces around my neck?  black lip gloss?  Let me just clear the air here with these locals, I am a christian who believes in God, but yes I keep my religion to myself and pray in the privacy of my own home or to myself silently in my thoughts, I am a taxpayer who works hard, happily married and always behind closed doors with the intimacy aspects of my relationship, I laugh, cry, get angry, become sad, I have my rights just like everyone else, I have my freedoms, which were earned and never taken for granted, if someone asks me to pray for them, I will, I thank soldiers dressed in uniform in the public for their services and fighting for the freedoms that I have, I volunteer and give to charities whenever I can, I pay bills, I earn money, I AM HUMAN!  I wish these random people would just let me be and let me live my life in peace!  Blue hair and my lifestyle and they way I choose to carry myself is not anyone's business but my own, I love who I am, I love my home and my family and the life I have worked so hard for. When I got married, we had nothing but a few pieces of furniture, and a suitcase worth of clothing and 2 of the 3 cats that I have...from then, we worked from the ground up and now have a house, cars that work, my small business, nicer things we bought over the years, we are blessed but we worked for everything we have today.  I couldn't be anymore proud of who I became than now.  

On a lighter note, These pics depict a typical quiet day in my home, I wouldn't have it any other way honestly.  So now I am going to snooze for a bit with my girls (cats) and by the time I awake, my sexy hubby will be home from another hard day's work...<3

New Model And A Birthday Shoutout!

 I'd like to introduce my newest minxdenpartdeux model recruited straight from the outdoors! This is Miss Venus McFlytrap, she didn't bring much with her, just the clothes on her back, the boots on her feet, and her pet flytrap, I felt sorry and took her into my home to live harmoniously with her model friends and myself!

 She is a plant monster, so plenty of sunlight is very crucial for her, which my studio does provide, she told me she goes to bed when the sun goes down, and is an early riser, no prob since my schedule is similar.

 This little gal has some badass hair, half shaved with duo tones of dusty mossy green and bright pink, she is a little shy, but got to know the other ladies real quickly.

 Here she is meeting Draculaura with a simple handshake...Little Laura always puts professionalism before friendship, but was pleasent nonetheless!

 Frankie Stein always puts boundaries aside and is a hugger indeed, she embraces her new buddy like they have known each other for years!

 And Ghoulia Yelps, well, likes to pose for pictures all the time so she gives her new acquaintance a quick hug and then poses with her.

 I let the girls loose on shy Venus, and they gave her a minxdenpartdeux makeover!  Doesn't she look right at home?!  They are now a great looking quartet!  I'm not sure when they will become the fabulouso 5, but I will recruit again sometime before the summer's end.

 Gawd if only I can have boots just like these in my size, I would be one happy minx!

And daaayum! did my hair fade fast or what?! I got some more hair dye, it's blue, but more blue than indigo.  We'll see how it turns out after today when I have some free time!

And I want to take this time and wish my daddy a happy birthday!  I sent him a card, hopefully he will like it! Love you daddy! <3

Strike A Pose!

 I have so far kept my word on not buying anymore monster high dolls, instead, I fuel my passion for them by buying them new clothes and keeping them well dressed!  I have selected so many favorites of clothes on etsy, I must have about a dozen pages of them!

 Me and my granny kitty Ashes bid you all a lovely Sunday!  She was snoozing after a 30 minute in bed cuddle session/attacking feet session, she is an old lady after all and needs her bouts of rest!

 Oh lordy! I need more storage tubs already, they filled up fast with etsy merchandise!

MY SEA MONKEYS! hard to fathom that brine shrimp are actually considered adorable, at least I think so!  Sorry again for a long absence again, but I have been busy and napping again in the afternoons, looks like I may need to take iron supplements again due to my recent frequent fatigue spells.  I am working on some all new goodies for the shop, I have actually already posted a few of the sort, but I am working on a crap ton more, so stay tuned!  And I want to take this time to wish the family and friends of the deceased  victims, and those that are injured in this terrible tragedy of the Aurora, CO Batman Midnight Showing Shooting massacre my deepest condolences, sympathy, thoughts, and prayers.  So far of my knowledge 12 innocent people lost their lives and dozens others injured and several of those critically wounded trying to hold onto their lives at this moment.  This is a time for remembrance and reflection, and many others out there seeing this and other movies, please stay safe and cautious.  I was planning on seeing the midnight showing, but have decided against seeing it in theaters all together, I will wait to rent it on netflix.  Staying home these days isn't such a terribly bad idea.
