A Busy Little Pastel Elf Am I!

 Look at this bitchin' necklace I just made for myself! It's nothin but vintage my little pony combs accessories!

 Aren't these the freakin greatest?  if you are an avid fan of the movie "A Christmas Story" like I am, then you will know what these things are! I will be also making myself a necklace with these! stay tuned!

More MPD jewelry to boot!  Ok since it has been 20 whole days since I last posted I will be kind enough to give you some updates, there are some hefty ones!

1. The TSO (for those of you dummies have know idea what I am talking about I will translate...Trans-Siberian Orchestra) Concert was f#$king EPIC I tell ya! so many lasers, fog, bass loud enough to nearly rupture your ear drums, awesome musicians, an electric violin I want more than winning any ol lottery!, fireworks, fire, oh man I could go on for months bragging and boasting about this concert! So I will stop now!

2. I got a JOB! AND THIS JOB IS THE ULTIMATE JOB! it's a decent paying job, great benefits, need I say more? AND FREAKIN FULL TIME HOURS FOR ONCE!

3. I am taking a road trip solo (gotta leave the mister behind with the furr kids since he cannot take off from work) to my home state to visit family and totally suprise the tinkle out of my grandparents by delivery in a box curtosy of my parents and sis! I haven't seen my grand parents in 7 months and they think i AM NOT GOING TO BE DOWN FOR THE HOLIDAYS, but little do they know I WILL BE IN 6 DAYS!

4. My hubby and I will have the best damn christmas ever!  we are getting each other a shit ton of cheap but cool colorful gifts, cheesy, noisy, almost like being kids ourselves!  And we filled each other's stockings to the point of overflowing with various candy, gag gifts, novelty, even the cool mini bottles of booze!  Oh yeah we are also doing our tradition of building our ginger bread house on xmas day while snacking and watching xmas movies, then destroy it on new years day!!

I think that is it for now! Since I start my new job on the 10th, blogging will be even less frequent so I apologize in advance....Hope everyone had a great turkey day and gained the righteous 5-10 pounds due to over eating that glorious meat we call turkey!  Until then, see you later bizzitches!

Time To Put On My Music Cap!

 Yes folks, tis that time of year, no tis that time of MY LIFE to get in music ship shape because the mister and I will journey to Omaha and see the epic greatness of all Christmas music concerts, the kind of greatness that to where the bass is fatter than my backside, the violins shrill in victorious glory, the drums make you feel the beat in the center of your chest, the electric guitars sing to the point of making you want to cry assloads of warm salty tears, the kind of music to where you want to punch the air with your fists of raging fury! Yes, I am talking about a concert that I know I will never forget, a concert that is on my bucket list, I am talking about the TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA! I have been listening to their music for constantly for the last several days, my hubby even got orchestra PIT SEATS!!!!!! all I can say is f*ck yesh!  and you better believe I will not walk away empty handed from their souvenir venue, I SHALL ACQUIRE A T-SHIRT, OR CD, OR GOD KNOWS WHAT ELSE! EVEN IF IT HAS TO BE A CHEESY TSO BOBBLE HEAD, I WILL GET MY NEEDY HANDS ON SOMETHING!  I am so freakin excited I am almost about to burst a vein! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! 

Ok, ok, I need to breathe, seriously, I am so dizzy!  so before the concert the mister is taking me to this place called "Shucks" it's a place to where we will eat copious amounts of raw oysters and maybe if he is nice he will let me get some big ass crab legs!  Afterall, I need my strength before this concert, I heard people can burn 100's of calories just by psyching out at their favorite concerts.  Well I will not chime in until after the concert, but if I am able to take pics, you bet your ass they will be in the next post!

More all new my little pony necklaces are posted in MPD, 8 newbies to be exact, I really like their names, there's kiwi tart, dainty daisies, waterfire, and my favorite pick-a-lily!

PastelHHHHHHHAUS! (PastelHaus) is doing awesome! I'm already at 23 sales and I have only been open for 20 days! hell yeah!  I keep posting new cool shit all the time, so there's never a boring dull moment!  

hmmmmmm I crave cheeseburgers, that sounds soooooo good!

80's Overload! Totally Rad!

 My life has been very hectic lately!  Oh do let me count the ways!

 I have been finding more and more lovelies from my past, remember this?  I had this very same pony purse and when I saw that this was up for grabs for only 16 bucks and in perfect condition, I leaped on the chance of making this all mine!

 These ponies aren't drugged out, they are twinkle eyed ponies!  some days I feel like a twinkle eyed pony, and some days I don't! the yellow one in the middle is my most fave pony!

 LIKE OMG! turtle tots! I has this exact one as well, I remember I got this as a gift from the ol "toothfairy"...it's too bad I have all of my teeth now, I do not have an excuse for the toothfairy to pay me a visit anymore, my perception of the toothfairy was a little glittery lady with fragile wings, but she had tremendous strength to carry these toys and stuff them under my pillows...(my parents believed in toys for teeth exchanging gifts, not money) that and money is no fun for kids, toys are way better! 

 My slice of heaven for the week? this pony, I smell her backside and she still holds the scent of ice cream, takes me back to my preschool care free days!

I Feel My Boobies Once A Month!!!

 I grab and feel my twins once a month to make sure there are no pesky bastard tumors in there, this month is indeed breast cancer awareness month for us ladies and if you haven't scheduled that dreaded boob sandwich of a mammogram, do so now!  However, being 30 with no family history, I do not have the need to get these mammograms until I reach the tender age of 40, but I have already had one since I felt a scary lump in my right lady (whom I lovingly refer to as "Barb") YES I NAME MY BOOBS, in case you are wondering what I named my left lady, it's "Bette"...hehe but seriously though breast cancer is no laughing matter, early detection is the key, I am so happy I went to get that lump checked out earlier on this year, it turned out to be a harmless cyst that went away on it's own 10 days after discovery...but one simple 60 second exam on both of your twins monthly could save your own life! And don't think you are squeaking by me fellas! this is also the month of "proctober" GET YOUR PROSTATES CHECKED TOO!  So in honor or breast cancer awareness month, I dyed my hair back to pink to honor all of these couagious women who have won the battle or even lost the battle...

 My first pony restoration project, I painted over someone who wrote their name on the side of this poor abused pony! seriously, who the hell does that?  THESE ARE VINTAGE COLLECTIBLES PEOPLES!

But for just under 3 bucks I bought this lovely pony from a very cool etsy seller of which I have shopped many occasions before, (the seller wasn't the weirdo that wrote on this pony) I promised her I would adopt her and take good care of her, in fact I had this same pony as a kid, but she was lost, but now I have again....anyways, I showed her my end results, she wrote me back within an hour and told me what a great job I did, hmm, now I want to adopt more abused ponies and give them makeovers, this is my version of an extremely head ache inducing sugar high!  I live for restorations!  

In my etsy shop however, I feel that I should keep this reward thing going only I changed things up a bit, you have to buy a minimum of 4 items PER ORDER to get something free...sound fair?  I sure think so!

Ok well gotta go eat some grub, and put an ice pack on my lymph nodes cause they feel swollen for some odd reason...buh bye!

30 AND FABULOUS!

 Just when I thought I was done collecting Monster High Dolls for sure, I come across these 2....my hubby just shakes his head and says, "put it in the cart"  but I couldn't resist! I already have clawdeen, but I had no idea they made her little sister, howleen! arg.

 Howleen is my new fave, she is alot like me and my style, she is short like me and a werepunk!

 My fave perfume, "sparkle" by rue 21...This one I have been wearing off and on for almost 10 years now, I usually stay pretty loyal to my fave brands of smell goods, but not entirely closed to the idea of finding a new smell good that makes my nostrils happy instead of pissed off, bearing me one of those annoying headaches that last all day, but lately I haven't connected to a kind that I truly like, I am not for smelling like a candied little girl, I need something that's clean fresh and slightly floral, like my sparkle concoction!

 Even 30 year olds can play super hero every now and then!  If I had super powers, my ingredients list would be flying/ going thru walls/ morphing into different people and back to myself/ able to alter time (i.e. fast forwarding time/ rewind) oh yeah and bowl a perfect 300, EVERY TIME!!!

 more etsy finds, amd I am expecting a shit ton more goodies coming my way to my mailbox, but today is a federal holiday so my mailbox will be starving until tomorrow morning!

My roots are in need of a touch up, and like really bad... and since I just scored some birthday moulah from my awesome grams and gramps abroad in my home town, I am thinking of going back to pink, I miss it so much, having purple hair, indigo hair, teal hair, is indeed awesome, but I feel I must go back to my signature color....and not just any pink, I am talking neon pink, the kind that makes you squint your eyes and say "awe shit I'm blinded!"  What do you think?  Another color?  I haven't had yellow/orange/green/red or any hue in between....

My 30th was 3 days ago, and I really don't feel so much older, I had a bunch of people call/text/email/send the greeting cards of mass market making their way to my mailbox (my granny, whom I lovingly refer to as "Nonie" always makes her cards, I swear that beautiful crafty woman should of gone into a career of card designing of the sort!  But she decided to be a lovely lofty classy stay at home mom and be the awesome grandma that she is to me and 3 other lucky ladies.  

The first phone call I got on the blessed anniversary of my birth was my mum and at 4am when I was at work...hehe, when my phone rang it scared the crap out of me, I never expect calls at that time (I don't get off work till 6, but she wanted to surprise me, she told me she was giving me some serious cash for me to splurge on when buying etsy goodies, bless her! I had a purchase in mind, a beautiful hardcore cute kitty painting I have been eyeing for over a year! Thanks Mum Mum!

My birthday for the most part was good, that morning I bought a vintage My little pony that I have been missing since childhood, the mister had breakfast ready for me when I got home at 7am, I had to get my car fixed, had an argument with the mister that evening, but we kissed and made up (we usually fight about real stupid shit) and he took me out for some damn good thai food and let me get one of these real weird drinks that make you cock your head and go "whaaaaa?"

and yes, I blew out my candles......until next post, anyone going thru a milestone birthday? (21, 25, 30, 40, 50.....100?)  Peace out my biznatches!
