Wallpaper Wallflower

 The other day, I was preoccupied for about 2 hours when I put up this makeshift wallpaper border in my studio, not exactly straight, but cute none the less....but this isn't actually wallpaper, these are sheets ripped out from a kawaii picture book that I found at Barnes & Noble...these pics were so funny, I reserved a copy of the first series and should be in my possession by the end of the month!

 And of course, I stocked up on so much more inventory for my shop, and I hadn't even scratched the surface yet!  I am expecting to get a huge cab/charm assortment sometime next week, not sure exactly when yet, but the gal was kind enough to set all 315 pieces on reserve for me!  I also decided to pose with some of my jewelry too!

These are just a few of my favorites selected out of like seriously 60 new items, couldn't post all of them on here! go check out the new goods that made their way into minxdenpartdeux!  I got an order to process this morning, make a post office delivery, maybe make some coffee since I didn't sleep very well last night.  My creative mojo is raging like a river and want to create more hair clips, but I am already almost out of cabs! yikes!

Remints Up To My Ears, Loving Toy Stores Again, And Shop Update!

 This picture depicts me of my excitement as I just found out that my hubby is buying tickets for us to go to our VERY FIRST COSPLAY EVENT IN OMAHA LATER ON THIS YEAR!!

 THIS IS MY REALLY EXCITED FACE, I THINK I BURST A COUPLE OF BLOOD VESSELS IN MY HEAD!

 Of course seeing that last pic, just cracked me up, I am such a ham!

 Ok...now onto the kawaii haul I had yesterday!  Went to Toys R Us and haven't set foot in one of their stores in seriously almost 20 years!  I am so amazingly shocked by how many awesome goodies they have!  Like above with sweet treat crafting kawaii kits knee deep, I assembled these last night and will make these into ring form and post these in my shop soon! (already posted the macaroon necklaces this morning! squeal!!)

 And was also up to my ears in remints there too, picked out 3 different ones, they are awesome!

I just looooove my new Little Miss Muffin remint I got yesterday, this one is Little Miss Cherrie! I had alot of fun playing with her, introducing her to my studio and the other gang this morning! I would so want to get more!

 This is Ci-Ci, she is a "mommy's girl" and loves to sunbathe in my studio every afternoon, and enjoys the luxury of my occasional kawaii mail times, this particular pic, she was scoping out my 100 lot of kawaii cabs I got, she loved the pink bows the best!

And lastly, but not leastly! 4 years ago today, well as of 2:30pm this afternoon, I married this handsome Kansas farmboy fellow who stole my heart over 10 years ago, but made it official over 6 years later!  My wedding was simple, about 75 guests, a really good cake that leaned like the tower of Pisa due to the extreme humidity, a beautiful dress with a 12 foot long veil, that day I will never forget.  And surprisingly, I was oddly very calm throughout the wholeday, I honestly don't know why I hear of brides and grooms and members of wedding parties fainting/puking/ hyperventilating, yeah I guess if you are unsure of this soon to be wedded union, but I walked down that isle cool, calm, happy, glowing, and just at peace.  My man looked cool and calm as well, we breezed right through the 30 minute long ceremony (and I even tipped the giant alter bouquet with my big long veil spilling water up on God's alter!) hehe, didn't even phase me!  

This post is dedicated to my better half, I seriously mean that, he makes my flaws translucent (nearly see through), my love for him is strong, never by a thread, and I am still so glad and thankful I have such a good man to call my husband.  Thank you "Tiger" for asking me to start a new chapter with you, and I am still reading that chapter on the edge of my seat, wondering what will be on my next page of life!  I love you!  With love from your "Minx".

A Sicky Minx

Today was one of those days....I am currently sick..... but there are a few reasons why I love being sick despite the chills, fevers, body aches, runny noses, headaches, yeah you get it...IS THE HOME MADE CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP, SOMEONE WAITING ON ME HAND AND FOOT, CARTOONS, MY STUFFED ANIMALS, NIGHT GOWNS, MY KITTIES KEEPING ME WARM, EXTRA BLANKETS/PILLOWS, AND GREAT PRESCRIPTIONS!  See? being sick is awesome!  Now I waited on myself hand and foot, made the chicken noodle soup myself, I am wearing my favorite night gown currently right now, my hubby just walked in the door so now he's got the night shift of taking care of me!  Maybe he will let me watch some x-men cartoons on netflix tonight because I always watch cartoons when I am sick...oh yes, my hubs brought me some Popsicles!  Here is a pic of me sick, and sans the makeup, dont get used to this! And I was slightly productive today and made 3 new necklaces and 1 bracelet for my shop, sold 3 items to a gal in Canada today, so today was not a total loss! So, time to take my teddy bear simply named "Teddy" (which is pictured, I had him since I was 11 and watch TV!
