New Model And A Birthday Shoutout!

 I'd like to introduce my newest minxdenpartdeux model recruited straight from the outdoors! This is Miss Venus McFlytrap, she didn't bring much with her, just the clothes on her back, the boots on her feet, and her pet flytrap, I felt sorry and took her into my home to live harmoniously with her model friends and myself!

 She is a plant monster, so plenty of sunlight is very crucial for her, which my studio does provide, she told me she goes to bed when the sun goes down, and is an early riser, no prob since my schedule is similar.

 This little gal has some badass hair, half shaved with duo tones of dusty mossy green and bright pink, she is a little shy, but got to know the other ladies real quickly.

 Here she is meeting Draculaura with a simple handshake...Little Laura always puts professionalism before friendship, but was pleasent nonetheless!

 Frankie Stein always puts boundaries aside and is a hugger indeed, she embraces her new buddy like they have known each other for years!

 And Ghoulia Yelps, well, likes to pose for pictures all the time so she gives her new acquaintance a quick hug and then poses with her.

 I let the girls loose on shy Venus, and they gave her a minxdenpartdeux makeover!  Doesn't she look right at home?!  They are now a great looking quartet!  I'm not sure when they will become the fabulouso 5, but I will recruit again sometime before the summer's end.

 Gawd if only I can have boots just like these in my size, I would be one happy minx!

And daaayum! did my hair fade fast or what?! I got some more hair dye, it's blue, but more blue than indigo.  We'll see how it turns out after today when I have some free time!

And I want to take this time and wish my daddy a happy birthday!  I sent him a card, hopefully he will like it! Love you daddy! <3

Strike A Pose!

 I have so far kept my word on not buying anymore monster high dolls, instead, I fuel my passion for them by buying them new clothes and keeping them well dressed!  I have selected so many favorites of clothes on etsy, I must have about a dozen pages of them!

 Me and my granny kitty Ashes bid you all a lovely Sunday!  She was snoozing after a 30 minute in bed cuddle session/attacking feet session, she is an old lady after all and needs her bouts of rest!

 Oh lordy! I need more storage tubs already, they filled up fast with etsy merchandise!

MY SEA MONKEYS! hard to fathom that brine shrimp are actually considered adorable, at least I think so!  Sorry again for a long absence again, but I have been busy and napping again in the afternoons, looks like I may need to take iron supplements again due to my recent frequent fatigue spells.  I am working on some all new goodies for the shop, I have actually already posted a few of the sort, but I am working on a crap ton more, so stay tuned!  And I want to take this time to wish the family and friends of the deceased  victims, and those that are injured in this terrible tragedy of the Aurora, CO Batman Midnight Showing Shooting massacre my deepest condolences, sympathy, thoughts, and prayers.  So far of my knowledge 12 innocent people lost their lives and dozens others injured and several of those critically wounded trying to hold onto their lives at this moment.  This is a time for remembrance and reflection, and many others out there seeing this and other movies, please stay safe and cautious.  I was planning on seeing the midnight showing, but have decided against seeing it in theaters all together, I will wait to rent it on netflix.  Staying home these days isn't such a terribly bad idea.

Sorry for my lack of posting this past week, at this rate, y'all are lucky to see a post once a week from me!  I have been super busy with etsy orders, my husband is even now helping me with the overload of work!  I am already approaching 700 sales and I could easily see 1,000 probably by this fall!  This past week has been somewhat stressful, orders up to my ears (although I am not complaining about that!) a funeral to attend come monday (an out of state funeral) a friend of me and my hubby had passed away due to complications from a recent surgery, I ask you all to hold his wife and 2 sons (one of which is my brother in law) in your prayers and/or thoughts.  It was a sudden unexpected death, and it just goes to show you that life indeed is short, make the best of it, you are only granted one life, I sure wish I could just run down the street and find me a green 1up mushroom and eat it so that I get an extra life, but it just doesn't work that way.  I will just say I have been real appreciative of my marriage and super duper snuggly with the mister lately, I can't even imagine what it would be like if I lost him young or old, that is the number one fear that I have.  Not to mention, I called my dad after hearing of the sad news and just to tell him I love him and to hear his voice, our friend was a husband, a father of 2 sons, and a grandfather of 4 children, and of course he was my dad's age when he passed.  It really spooked me, are we now at that age to where we start to lose our parents?  I will be 30 this fall, and it just doesn't even seem possible!  So I will be signing off for now, but in the meantime, browse the pics above for the newest etsy creations, and go to www.minxdenpartdeux.etsy.com to see the other 30 or so Items I posted in my shop!

 Oh lord....what a mess!

 I recently stumbled across a really cool blog site and I was reading some of her past posts, we sure have alot in common, but seeing that she loves to collect pez dispensers (she seriously has so many!) it made me deepfully regret ever throwing away the ones I had collected as a kid!  I was such a stupid teenager, not sticking with my nerdy roots and trying like hell to fit in and acting like a naive girl.  I have many regrets in my life, but did throwing away 40 something plasticy colorful nerdy and truly wonderful pez dispensers suffice from my teen angst? HELL NO! Time to get back to myself and what I have truly loved all along, nerdy shit!  So I am starting over from scratch, collecting them as I go, (psssst! toys R us has a huge variety of them, come to my amazement!) I wanted to thank The Fashion Turd from helping me realize and rekindle my inner dorkiness and fabulousness buried deep beneath the snow for many years! There are truly amazing people out there, and especially the colorful folk, like her and me! and my many of other friends from round the world!

 And the cool thing is collecting pez dispensers, you get enough pez candies to last you throughout a weekend or so indoors from the intense heat!
