And lastly, but not leastly! 4 years ago today, well as of 2:30pm this afternoon, I married this handsome Kansas farmboy fellow who stole my heart over 10 years ago, but made it official over 6 years later!  My wedding was simple, about 75 guests, a really good cake that leaned like the tower of Pisa due to the extreme humidity, a beautiful dress with a 12 foot long veil, that day I will never forget.  And surprisingly, I was oddly very calm throughout the wholeday, I honestly don't know why I hear of brides and grooms and members of wedding parties fainting/puking/ hyperventilating, yeah I guess if you are unsure of this soon to be wedded union, but I walked down that isle cool, calm, happy, glowing, and just at peace.  My man looked cool and calm as well, we breezed right through the 30 minute long ceremony (and I even tipped the giant alter bouquet with my big long veil spilling water up on God's alter!) hehe, didn't even phase me!  

This post is dedicated to my better half, I seriously mean that, he makes my flaws translucent (nearly see through), my love for him is strong, never by a thread, and I am still so glad and thankful I have such a good man to call my husband.  Thank you "Tiger" for asking me to start a new chapter with you, and I am still reading that chapter on the edge of my seat, wondering what will be on my next page of life!  I love you!  With love from your "Minx".

A Sicky Minx

Today was one of those days....I am currently sick..... but there are a few reasons why I love being sick despite the chills, fevers, body aches, runny noses, headaches, yeah you get it...IS THE HOME MADE CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP, SOMEONE WAITING ON ME HAND AND FOOT, CARTOONS, MY STUFFED ANIMALS, NIGHT GOWNS, MY KITTIES KEEPING ME WARM, EXTRA BLANKETS/PILLOWS, AND GREAT PRESCRIPTIONS!  See? being sick is awesome!  Now I waited on myself hand and foot, made the chicken noodle soup myself, I am wearing my favorite night gown currently right now, my hubby just walked in the door so now he's got the night shift of taking care of me!  Maybe he will let me watch some x-men cartoons on netflix tonight because I always watch cartoons when I am sick...oh yes, my hubs brought me some Popsicles!  Here is a pic of me sick, and sans the makeup, dont get used to this! And I was slightly productive today and made 3 new necklaces and 1 bracelet for my shop, sold 3 items to a gal in Canada today, so today was not a total loss! So, time to take my teddy bear simply named "Teddy" (which is pictured, I had him since I was 11 and watch TV!

For The Love Of Fedoras And Hair Clips, And Cats

Me and my very old kitty, "Ashes".....I rescued her from a cat shelter to live a life of solitude, surrounded by my creations, Korn blaring in the background, but I must admit that she rescued me.  We needed each other. I will just leave it at that.

Cruddy Morning, Yesterday's Look

 

My world as of yesterday...I looked cute, captured pics of my ponies, and favorite stuffed kitty....but today right from the start of waking up my world is just plain cruddy today, gloomy, rainy, (I hate rain and thunderstorms), an etsy mishap on my part, my hubby being out of state and missing him so much, not getting any good sleep last night, a blood test pending for tomorrow (I hate needles), one of my cats throwing up, and still waiting for my #1 job prospective to call me for a 2nd interview...all in all, today isn't that great, it could be better, meh....at least i made 2 etsy sales this morning bringing me up to 373 sales.  I always love to see lots of etsy sales in a day, 2 just ain't cutting it for my personal goals...oh well, the day is young, maybe it will turn out better? After all, there is a solar eclipse tonight, haven't seen one since I was 11! that was over 18 years ago!

Recently on etsy, I came across peter pan collars and thought, gee I can make one of those, and I did it!

Everybody has a dark side, and a bright side, these 2 pics depict that...I had recently been job searching and now I am boiled down to 2 real good prospectives, even one is a manager's position at an accessories store at my local mall! This is the better of the 2, so I am hoping with all of my might that I get this one, I just had a phone call saying that I passed the online assessment test, and of course passed the first interview yesterday, so all I have to do is pass the 2nd and final interview with the district manager and the job is mine for the taking! The "nice" pic was my look for the first interview of the manager's job...I like the darker look of my outfit for the interview of the other job prospective, never thought I could pull of black lip gloss....yes you heard right BLACK LIP GLOSS! WIN!!!!!!
